The american dream is dead for most people. This why political figures like Bernie Sanders and Trump are rising. There is a global political awakening going on thanks to the internet. So your going to have a hard time with selling to the younger generations. The older ones will be even worse.

ReplyDeleteWhile I did like the initial slogan touching on the American Dream, I too agree with DM that it is dead for most people. "Reaching your goals" is certainly more fitting and lives up to more people's expectations. To me the American Dream is more generic in the terms of expectations where as when someone sets their own goals, the sky is the limit.
